Our organization supports the education of girls. We believe that education gives girls power and can change their lives in significant ways.

Scholarships and learning resources

We support girls education by paying their school fees and providing them with the basic materials to attend school such as uniforms, books, and pencils. We also support extra tutoring and provide study materials.

We train and support teachers so that they can deliver the curriculum to students. Good teachers are essential to a good education. They create the right environment, and provide much needed support and guidance.

When I was a young girl in India, I loved celebrating Kanjak Puja (a festival that signifies the power of feminine divine). On this special day, people honored girls by washing their feet, tying sacred threads on their wrists, and seeking their blessings. I was taught that girls brought good luck and prosperity.

But as I grew older, I saw a different reality. Many families preferred having sons, while daughters were often seen as a burden. Boys had better access to education and opportunities, while girls were left behind. I couldn’t understand why so few girls were in top schools like IIT. I knew that if given the same chances, they would succeed.

That’s why I have one clear mission: to help at least one girl change her future through education—just as education changed mine.
